I would just like to speak for all experienced roleplayers here... Roleplay when done right is never this cheesy and bad. The type of roleplay portrayed in the episode of SAO abridged is more a kin to something you would see in a teenage Roblox RP game... Though I will say on VERY RARE occasions in dark RP the bit about Pantysmasher is kind of accurate... But is very disgraceful and frowned upon in the RP community.

Mystical adventure low key is what all db movies could of been...interesting alternate retellings of the story but in a mixed fun unique fast paced way...combining tao shen the 21st and 22nd budokais some red ribbon army and bora uppa plus penguin village with arale and even throwing in korin and blue was awesome to see even pilaf gets some time...I wish we got 1 more og db film to recap king pikkoro and the 23d budokai arcs...that would of been great instead of path to power which sucks

Honestly, King Piccolo might be one of the few villains where his lack of depth doesn't bother me, because of the nature of how he came to be. He is literally all the worst parts of Kami, cast off in order for Kami to be fit for the role of guardian of the earth. As such, it makes sense for him to have no redeeming qualities, because all of them are still with Kami. He was created from the Guardian only to become one of the world's biggest threats (for the time, obviously) and was so overwhelmingly powerful that, during his original reign of terror, the best fighters the world had to offer couldn't even put a dent in him. They only won by sealing him, and someone had to die just to make that work! Hell as an old man, fresh from imprisonment, he completely and utterly dominated Goku with barely any effort and tanked a kamehameha without flinching, just because he could. As opposed to Freeza who's just evil because reasons.

Admittedly, Goku sparing Piccolo was the only time that move actually made sense. Goku knew that if Piccolo dies, Kami dies and then the dragonballs disappear. The fact that he got a potential rival to constantly challenge himself against was just a bonus. As much as I like Vegeta, looking at the scene from an in universe perspective, there wasn't really a point to it. Vegeta was pretty blatant about his merciless nature and displayed no redeeming qualities during their fight. As far as Goku could've known, there was nothing to be lost in letting Krillin kill him. Same for Freeza. In Dragonball, Goku had no aversion to killing enemies, especially the remorseless and amoral types like King Piccolo, yet for no reason he was ready to spare an intergalactic tyrant that commits genocide without a second thought and will happily torture their enemies to death just for fun. Of course at this point with Super, he's grown arguably even dumber than the abridged version, who was meant to be an extreme exaggeration of Goku's stupidity, so it's whatever, I guess.
